What Remains is a Substantial Research Project covering the subject of non-transplant tissue donations through an anthropological lens. Using ethnography and critical medical anthropology, this podcast examines issues of bodily autonomy and body commodification, exploitation of marginalized groups in medicine, the disruption of deathcare institutions by capitalistic interests, and the modern death activism movement.
